Is it possible to forward ACS alerts that match a certain criteria to a cell
phone?
Answer:
-You can create a rule to collect events from the security log and then setup
criteria and response to your mobile phone. You dont have to involve ACS.
-Just to reinforce what Anders said - ACS has no alerting functionality. It
is purely data collection (into a seperate database) with some basic
reports. If you want to do alerting on security events then you'll either
need to do your own management pack or you may want to take a look at Secure
Vantage who have a collection of management packs around auditing and
security already produced. Either way, you're not really leveraging ACS as
any 'data' collected via the Management Pack is stored in the Operations
Database and not the ACS database.
